APATITE

Apatite is a calcium phosphate mineral found in a variety of colors such as yellow, blue, green, gray, and brown. The most important colors for metaphysical use are blue, green, and gold. Apatite was first discovered in 1786 by A.G. Werner ,but it’s name came from the Greek word meaning “to deceive” , due to many people mistaking it for other minerals such as Peridot and Beryl. The largest Apatite deposit is in Kirovsk, Russia but can also be found in Brazil, Burma, Madagascar, and Mexico.

People have found that it can help with motivation, ambition, self-confidence and self-acceptance. In general, blue gemstones are associated with the mind’s connection to the spiritual world. This doesn’t necessarily mean any kind of organized religion, but rather an opening of your mind and heart, which allows you to access your authentic self.
